Fighting poaching with big hard throbbing....

..modern medicine!
Anthony Bourdain proposes an Idea to a Vegan friend that should seriously be considered by Governments and Non-profits if we want to stop the mass extinctions taking place in Asia and other third world areas of the world where access to medicine and modern information is limited. This is all the more relevant in light of the recent announcement that the Western Black Rhino is officially extinct.  Bourdain flatly recounts what he told his meatless friend in his book, "The Nasty Bits"
"If he seriously wanted to see a lot of the rarest, most beautiful, most endangered animals live longer, and maybe even multiply and prosper he should, I advised, buy a few million dollars worth of Viagra and Cialis, start spreading that stuff around for free where it mattered, in the parts of Asia where they think Bear's paw, Rhino Horn, and tiger dicks are good boner medicine."

This is a funny reminder that not all solutions are complicated expensive propositions, some are as simple as education and the distribution of the little blue pill. This would pay for itself due to the decline of poaching that would follow. Conservationists take note, this is really thinking outside the box. I like it.
